Overview

Open WebUI lets admins add multiple OpenAI-compatible connections. Add UnoRouter and the model picker auto-fills from the catalog.

Step-by-step setup

   Open the admin panel

   Sign in as admin, open the Admin Panel, go to Settings, then Connections.

   Add a new OpenAI connection

   Under OpenAI API, click the + button to add a connection.

   Fill the connection

   Enter the base URL and your UnoRouter API key.

   Sign in to auto-fill your API key

   Save and pick a model

   Save the connection. The model picker pulls the UnoRouter catalog automatically.

Recommended models

Free models that work well here. Paste any model id into the client.

Gotchas

• !A broad key can return many models. Use Open WebUI's model filter or a curated key if the dropdown gets noisy.
• !Open WebUI also has a separate Ollama connection list. Make sure you add to OpenAI API, not Ollama.
