Overview

Open WebUI admins can add multiple OpenAI-compatible connections. Add UnoRouter and the model picker fills from the catalog.

Step-by-step setup

   Open the admin panel

   Sign in as admin, open Admin Panel, Settings, then Connections.

   Add a new OpenAI connection

   Under OpenAI API, click + to add a connection.

   Fill the connection

   Enter the base URL and your UnoRouter API key.

   Sign in to auto-fill your API key

   Save and pick a model

   Save the connection. The model picker pulls the UnoRouter catalog.

Recommended models

Free models that work here. Paste any model id into the client.

Gotchas

• !A broad key returns many models. Use Open WebUI's model filter or a curated key if the dropdown gets noisy.
• !Open WebUI has a separate Ollama connection list. Add to OpenAI API, not Ollama.
