Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UnoRouter's website, API services, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Overview
UnoRouter operates as an AI model API aggregator, enabling users to access third-party AI models through a unified API. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove available models and features at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Account Registration
To access most features of the Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Payment Terms
Access to the Services may require purchasing credits or subscribing to a plan.
- Credits: Credits are purchased in advance and deducted as you use the Services. Minimum and maximum purchase amounts may apply.
- Refunds: Refund eligibility and conditions are determined at our discretion. Platform fees are non-refundable.
- Expiration: Credits may expire after a period of inactivity as specified in your account settings or our current pricing terms.
5. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of the content you submit through the Services ("User Content"). Ownership of AI-generated outputs depends on the terms of the specific AI model used. We do not use your User Content to train AI models. You grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
6. Providers in Third Countries and Data Transfers
(1) Some providers through which UnoRouter offers models in the model catalog are based in a third country that is neither covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission nor has agreed appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR with UnoRouter. The country of such a provider is referred to below as an "unsafe third country". These providers either offer their own models or give access to models of other developers. All offers of these providers are marked as such in the model catalog, stating the country where they are based ("marked offers"). The same model may also be available through other providers. Their offers are not marked. (2) When you use a marked offer, your inputs, including any personal data they contain, are transferred to the respective unsafe third country. The level of data protection in these third countries is not comparable to that in the European Union. In particular, authorities there sometimes have far-reaching powers to access data, and data subjects do not have equivalent rights and legal remedies. No appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR exist for these transfers. Further information is provided in the privacy policy. (3) For consumers, providing the marked offers is part of the contractual service of UnoRouter. The contractual service consists of two elements: the model and the provision route, meaning the provider through which the model is provided. What is owed is always the specifically selected model via the specifically selected provider. Consumers must not enter or otherwise transmit personal data of third parties when using marked offers. This also applies to files, images and other content from which third parties can be identified. Because of the risks described in paragraph 2, UnoRouter advises against entering your own personal data as well. Consumers can avoid the transfer of their personal data to unsafe third countries at any time by not using marked offers or by not entering personal data into them. (4) UnoRouter currently does not offer accounts for business customers. Marked offers are not available to business customers. UnoRouter routes requests from business customers exclusively through providers that are based in the European Union or the European Economic Area, are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or have agreed appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR (in particular standard contractual clauses). (5) Some models are provided through providers that also use inputs for their own purposes, in particular to train AI models; this applies to free and paid models alike. Providers that have not published how they handle inputs are treated in the same way. Such models are marked when a model is selected. If such a provider is based in an unsafe third country, UnoRouter obtains a separate consent to the transfer before the first use, naming the country of establishment. The consent relates to the providers through which the model is provided at the time of consent; if another such provider is added, a new consent is required. The consent can be withdrawn at any time. Consumers may object at any time, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to their inputs being passed to such providers (Art. 21(1) GDPR); after an objection, UnoRouter no longer forwards their inputs to these providers, and models that are only available through such providers are no longer available to them. Consumers must not enter special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9(1) GDPR, such as health data, into such models. Details are provided in the privacy policy.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Services to violate any applicable laws or regulations; create false identities or impersonate others; engage in automated scraping or data mining; infringe on third-party intellectual property rights; attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Services; engage in fraudulent activity; resell access to your account without authorization; or generate, request, or distribute sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content, including AI-generated content, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual sexual content, or deepfake and face-swap imagery.
