Personas

A persona is who you are in the story: a name, an optional display-only title shown in lists, a description the model sees, and an avatar for the UI. The user macro resolves to the persona name, and the persona description is injected into its own prompt slot.

Keep the description in third person and reasonably short; it is sent with every message.

Mark one persona as default and every new chat starts with it. You can still swap personas per conversation in the settings drawer, and the loadout can pin a different one.

Personas import from persona files exported by other frontends. Duplicating an existing persona is often the fastest way to create a variant.
